Italy Takeover

Touch down in the mother land!!! oh yes, Italy baby. I can’t believe I’m finally here getting to volunteer and teach kids english while also exploring different cities and seeing my family. It is like a dream. The last time I was here was 6 years ago when I got to play soccer in England and then I visited my family in Rome after. Now, I’ve grown so much and changed my path especially learning Italian over the years so now it is easier for me to communicate with my family. It is so crazy to think about where life takes you. Experiencing Italy with a whole new passion and future in mind is crazy yet I’m so thankful to think of how far I’ve come.

I’d like to change it up this time around so now instead of wearing soccer shorts and t-shirts, I’ll be wearing neutral colors that of course match the building haha. It’s spring time in Italy and I notice they wear a lot of black which is my winter wear in NYC. However, spring for me is all about a new fresh wardrobe filled with color. My two piece coral set is from Zara including my white sneakers. Which are not that white anymore because everyday after school we all play soccer outside for hours. It makes me so happy and it brings back such good memories to play again. Oh and remember when you weren’t allowed to play soccer with any jewelry on?  Well, that rule doesn’t apply here because these beautiful pieces from Tarin Thomas are a major accessory MUST HAVE. So let’s break the rules together and have fun. Don’t let anything stop you from being you or anything stop you from wearing what you want. Do what you love and what makes you happy because in the end it’s your own future you build along the way so go out and work towards it. And don’t worry about the changes, just keeping looking forward and be you.
